Erasmus Visit to Italy

At the start of May, four students from Launceston College Sixth Form visited Sicily, Italy as part of an Erasmus Project.

The project has a focus on students developing business entrepreneurship skills through outdoor learning. The Host country Italy, as well as participants from our partner schools in Austria, Romania and Finland took part in the following activities orienteering, meeting the Mayor of Augusta, a trip to Mount Etna, exploring lava caves and developing key entrepreneurship skills in working as a team to complete tasks in a variety of locations around Sicily.

This concludes the project mobilities, with the hopeful additional of a physical mobility to Romania in the next academic year.

The Launceston College students involved were Jasmine, Charlie, Lydia and Keyna.

Many thanks to colleges in Italy for an excellent week.
