Ukraine Appeal Update

Students have just loaded up a van belonging to the Dad of one of our students Paul Pentland who owns Liskeard Auction Rooms. His friend Rich will be driving to Prague in the next few days to a women’s refuge which normally houses 80 people, and is currently home to over 3000 women and children.

We have had a huge amount of donations and we wanted to thank you all for your support. We are still collecting! Things most urgently needed are nappies, wet wipes, sanitary towels, baby milk, baby food (not in jars) first aid supplies and dried food which can be rehydrated easily, such as pot noodles. This food is also light and helps with transporting in bigger quantities, tinned foods are heavy and not wanted. They are still collecting baby/children’s clothes and particularly asked for warm coats and clothes.

I want to thank the 6th form students who have spent the week sorting and boxing up donations.
