Their grades are an outstanding achievement and compare very positively with the very best performances of students nationally. Jenn Burn, Head of Sixth Form, said “It is so rewarding to see the students achieve the results they need to progress on to the next stage of their lives. It is important to recognise that success is not just about achieving A grades at A level. We have a commitment at Launceston College Sixth Form to providing all our students with the best opportunities we can and some of our most successful students have secured university places, employment and apprenticeships on B and C grades or even lower because they have made such significant progress during the Sixth Form. The students have worked hard and have been well supported by their parents, families and teachers at the College. I am very impressed by the wide range of subject specialisms and career paths our students choose beyond the Sixth Form.”
