Students Visit the Czech Republic

Four Year 10 Launceston College students have just returned from a visit to school in Kroměříž in the Czech Republic. The students were taking part in an Erasmus project which also includes students from Italy, Portugal and the Croatia. The main focus of the project concerns professional cookery and restaurant service and the Launceston College students also helped with English language lessons.

In Kroměříž  the students stayed with local families and took part in a number of excursions to local towns and places of interest. Two days were also spent in the Czech Republic’s beautiful capital city, Prague.

Erasmus is an EU funded programme which encourages educational, vocational and cultural ties between the member states.
