Students tour of Cambridge University Colleges includes Shakespeare’s First Folio
Following their triumphant appearance at the Prince’s Teaching Institute conference, Launceston College students toured a number of Cambridge University colleges. We were met and guided round Downing College by their outreach officer, Lauren Payne, and students met a group of current undergraduates who were able to explain first hand their experiences of Cambridge life. We were then welcomed to Trinity College by Dr. Micha Lazarus, whose specialisms include studying the relationship between Aristotle and Shakespeare. We were incredibly fortunate to be able to see a First Folio edition of Shakespeare’s complete works, published in 1664, which is housed in the Sir Christopher Wren Library at Trinity College. A truly unforgettable experience.
