Scott Mann MP Replies to our Citizenship Students

As part of our citizenship curriculum, Launceston College students  were able to take advantage of the many learning opportunities provided by the general election of June 8. Students were able to examine the election manifestos offered by the different political parties and they followed the progress of the election as it unfolded. When the election was over, our students analysed the results, both nationally and locally, and looked at the role of a constituency MP.

To complete this project, students wrote a letter to Scott Mann as our constituency MP, expressing their hopes for the future. Scott kindly took the time to reply to us, and a copy of his letter from the House of Commons is shown here.
