Students in Year 11 will complete the following aspects to complete the course:
Paper 1 worth 50 % of the overall grade
· Section A – Core technical principles (20 marks).
· Section B – Specialist technical principles (30 marks)
· Section C – Designing and making principles (50 marks)
An NEA (non examined assessment) worth 50% of the overall grade.

How to use this resource: Students have been given a Collins revision guide. This can be used to create mind maps or quizzes. This can then be used to check subject knowledge and understanding. There are a range of questions within the revision guide along with answers. This is particularly useful for checking and revising subject knowledge.

Students can answer the questions in order to assess their subject knowledge. Resources can be re-read to ensure that there are no misconceptions.
