Launceston College Student impresses Top Brass at the BBC
Former Launceston College student Simon Dobson has won his third British Composer Award. BBC Radio 3 hosted the high profile event at the British Museum in London where Simon won the award for his work ‘The Turing Test’.
‘The Turing Test’ is a piece composed to be performed by a Brass Band and is inspired by the life and work of Alan Turing, the English mathematician, computer scientist, logician, cryptanalyst, philosopher, and theoretical biologist.
