International Festival House Challenge

Monday June 8th marks the deadline for the first entries in the International Festival, a house challenge organised by the Modern Foreign Languages faculty. This competition is underway throughout the whole month of June featuring a different category each week: cooking, performances, and research or creative projects.

This first week was the turn of the cooking category, where many talented aspiring chefs (including Madame Chudleigh and Señorita Rueda) surprised us with some delicious and mouth-watering savoury and sweet dishes. These plates took us around the world, visiting countries such as France, Greece, Italy, India, Spain, or Poland.

These are only a few examples of the many exceptional entries that we had for this week for the cooking category.

Thank you to all of you who took part as well as to your parents for giving a helping hand either with the cooking, the degustation or by assisting with washing the dishes!

If you have not yet taken part in the International Festival competition, remember that you have further opportunities to submit an entry for the remaining categories: performances, research and creative projects, and you can enter as many times as you wish!
