Hepworth Roundup

This has been a really exciting year for us all. There was great excitement and some trepidation as we all began the year in Houses   Hepworth had a fantastic start to the year by becoming the first winners of the House Cup and then continued this by winning it again the following term.

I have been delighted to see so many Hepworth students taking part in the many challenges that have been set; ranging from the many sporting tasks,  the DT challenge of creating something at home to reciting Shakespeare to name but a few and we have scored many points from participating in them.

This term we have voted for the new House leaders who can be seen below who have already started to take up their responsibilities.

This part of the year is always busy and it was great to see the Year 11 Hepworth students arrive in their different forms of transport with fantastic outfits on their leavers Day. This was followed by an excellent celebration day for the Year 13 Hepworth students. I wish them all well for their exam results and their futures.

Between these two days came Sports day and I felt very proud of the effort, participation and support shown by all of those who attended in Hepworth House. This was an important factor in helping us secure and win the Sports Day Cup.

A big congratulations to you all and this team work is what is needed to ensure we continue to be successful.

Continued hard work is needed for your own individual and House success and I am sure that now we have all had a taste of winning, and being successful, we will want to make this happen in the future.

Mr O’Donoghue and I wish you and your families a happy, exciting, and restful holiday, and we look forward to sharing with you the next year which will hold both academic and house challenges for you all.

Thank you and well done.
