Each half term, staff and students from Hepworth House are asked to nominate any student from the House who they feel deserves recognition for their efforts. This involves students d taking on more responsibility and contributing to the school community in a positive manner. This half term the Hepworth Hero is Lizzie Tennant of 13JFM
On joining the College Lizzie has always wanted to do well, but it has not always been an easy road. She has had to overcome obstacles on the way but with determination and hard work she has been successful. Throughout her time in College she has given great support to her friends both in and out of school. She secured a great set of GCSE’s which have enabled Lizzie to take the courses she wanted to in the 6th Form.
Lizzie has worked hard on charity events including the shoe box appeal and helped to organise the talent show for Children in Need. She also prepared and led a recent sixth form assembly. Lizzie works hard in school and stays after school to keep on top of her studies. She has had 5 out of 5 offers for her chosen University courses. She is a credit to Hepworth House and Launceston College, well done Lizzie!
