Welcome to the Vocational department area. The Vocational department has very specialist staff who are in touch with industry requirements Promoting ’learning by doing’ enables learners to become natural problem solvers in a practical and theoretical way. Small tests throughout the qualification enable the learners to take small achievable steps towards success.
The department offers a range of courses, starting as an introductory level to level 3. Working hand in hand with employers enables a smooth progression in employment through work experience and apprenticeships.. The department offers an outstanding curriculum and teaching in all subjects, at all levels.

The department has a main base at the College site as well as three satellite locations, Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy and Professional Cookery at Dunheved House and the Construction Unit and Motor Vehicle Unit is based on the Pennygillam Industrial Estate.
